The service

One Sentence Internet is a public, paid-participation experiment. The first bid starts at ₹1. Once a bid is accepted, the current winning bid is displayed in INR and any whole-rupee bid must be strictly higher than it. The first verified qualifying payment becomes the next current sentence; the archive records every successful replacement.

Your submission

You must be allowed to submit the text, must not submit unlawful, infringing, private, deceptive, hateful, threatening, or abusive content, and must not impersonate another person or organisation. We may refuse, hide, or remove public display of content where reasonably necessary, while preserving records required for operations or law.

Bids, payment and races

A bid is not accepted until Razorpay sends verified payment confirmation. There is no fixed increment: after the first ₹1 bid, it must only be strictly higher than the current winning bid when verified. If another verified payment has already set an equal or higher winning bid before your payment is processed, your sentence will not be published and we will initiate a full refund to the original payment method. Refund processing time is controlled by Razorpay and the relevant bank or payment provider. We may pause the service or decline a submission before payment.

Archive licence

By submitting a sentence, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, archive, and share it solely to operate, promote, and preserve this service. You retain ownership of your original text.
